Recap of 2017: New design & Sales in Jira

2017 is over, another year of growth for Atlas CRM. We enhanced our user experience and added sales management, to name just a few highlights of the long list of improvements we made this year.

All of this could not have happened without all the feedback we have received from you, our users. Therefore, we would like to thank you for all of your input!

Let's recap fast the most important releases, features, and improvements of 2017. But first, do you remember what Atlas CRM looked like at the start of 2017? Let's refresh our memory.

New design

Atlas CRM grew, and so did our users. The design in the screenshot above worked quite well in the beginning, but once you would add more fields to the template, it would become quite hard to get an overview of your information.

When Atlassian announced their new design, we saw it as our opportunity to redesign Atlas CRM. The result is a better overview of your information in a clean and fresh design:

We listened to your feedback and gave contacts their own tab within the company. Giving you more room to save customer information and find it at a glance.

The new structure gave us more room for new functionality, such as linking Confluence pages and managing sales.

Sales in Jira

The most important releases during 2017 were about our Sales feature. We introduced Sales to our private beta testers in May 2017 and received a ton of valuable feedback. After months of research, improvements and refinement, we made sales management available to all of our users in October 2017.

ISO 27001 Certification

Security is incredibly important for us. We take a lot of precautions to make sure that your data is safe and secure. These efforts paid off when we became ISO 27001 Certified.

By achieving this certificate, we have proven to meet the international standards for information security.

Documentation & Roadmap

2017 was also the year in which we refreshed the look and feel of our website and the documentation. It's now much easier to get started with Atlas CRM. And if you need us, you can open a support issue right from the website.

We've also started to share our roadmap for the future. We have some fantastic improvements planned for the coming year and we want to give you the possibility to vote for your most important feature. You can find the our public roadmap here.


While it's fun to look back on 2017, it's more interesting to look into the future. What will 2018 bring us?

As you can see on our roadmap, we are currently working on something called "Unified experience". When you use Atlas CRM on both Jira as well as Confluence, you might have noticed that they don't work completely the same. The unified experience will... unify them.

The result will be a better and faster Atlas CRM on both platforms. And it will allow us to add many of the improvements that our users ask for. We are very excited to share more information with you during 2018.
